In 2010, new names were added to the list of animated characters. They are the minions, from the Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment movie, Despicable Me. More than 10,000 minions were noticed during the promotion of Despicable Me 2 in 2013. Minions were the supporting characters in these movies but their rising fame got them their own movie, Minions in 2015.

The protagonists of the Minions movie are Kevin, Stuart and Bob. There, I just mentioned 3 minions names and I will give you some more. It is impossible to know the names of all 10,000 minions but it seems that Gru, the greatest villain of all time is the only one who knows all the minions by their names. I doubt even the creator and directors of the movie and characters know all minions names. Though there are thousand of minions, their physical attributes are limited.
They are either one-eyed minions or two eyed, either short or tall, either slim-built or fat and with the hairstyles they have 5 options (sprout-cut, buzz-cut, spikes, centre-parted and bald, yes! bald). BALAAM Hebrew devil of avarice and greed. AZAZEL The demon who taught man to make weapons of war and introduced women to cosmetics. Minions: The Rise of Gru (2022) The untold story of one twelve-year-old's dream to become the world's greatest supervillain. ASTAROTH Female demon worshipped by the Phoenicians as the goddess of lasciviousness. Minions (2015) Minions Stuart, Kevin, and Bob are recruited by Scarlet Overkill, a supervillain who, alongside her inventor husband Herb, hatches a plot to take over the world. It seems that two eyed minions have usually centre-parted hair and tall ones have sprout-cut. Here are the 13 of the worst and most dangerous demons: ASMODEUS The orgy-loving ancient Hebrew devil of sensuality. Hence, with the limited combinations of physical features, minions look similar to each other and it is confusing to recognize individual minion even if you know all their names. In the first movie, only 7 minions were addressed with their names. They are Dave, Stuart, Bob, Kevin, Jerry, Tim, Mark and Phil. In second movie, their population grew from few hundreds to few thousands but only handful of new minions names were mentioned Carl, John, Josh, Steve, Donny, Lance, Tom and couple more which I happened to forgot. In 2015, in Minions movie, I managed to pick two more new names Norbert and Chris. But we have seen some of them dressed in female costumes, haven’t we? You might have noticed that all names are Standard English male names, which implies that there are no female minions. The names I mentioned above are all the minions names I have managed to collect so far. If you know any other names beside the names above, please, let me know. No matter how hard we try, I don’t think it will ever be possible to know them all but the hunt for the names continues.
